CLIENT: Ormiston College

VOYAGE NUMBER:  20210917

FROM: Manly to Manly

DATE: 18 September 2021

POSITION: Mud Is

REPORT BY: White Watch

Woke up early for the 0400 to 0800 watch to polish the brass and watch the sunrise.  Won (again) the knotting competition tying the reef knot.  After breakfast we went ashore to climb the sand hills raced each other down to the bottom.  Sadly, we saw a dead turtle on the beach and reported it to the park authorities.

Back to the ship and dived off the bow into the “refreshing” water.   A few of us followed the tradition of climbing up to kiss the mermaid.  We then set sail for a wild and exciting journey across the bay to anchor at Mud Island.  Enjoyed a hot shower and a tasty meal of bangers and mash.  After dinner we played cards and reflected on how well we all participated in the activities, so far.
