South Passage Daily Report

CLIENT: The Cathedral School Group C

VOYAGE NUMBER:  20210803

FROM: Townsville to Townsville

DATE: 12 August 2021

POSITION: Rattlesnake Is

REPORT BY: Blue Watch

The day began in Hazard Bay on Orpheus Island with some light raining. After everyone was woken up and had eaten their first breakfast the knot tying competition began. White watch won. The ship then set sail and began towards Havannah Island. It was here where everyone got off the ship to have a bit of a swim on the island and to get a break from the rocking.

Once everyone was back on the ship we set sail again to Rattlesnake Island. We had the opportunity to go on the bowsprit for a bit where many of the kids got soaked. Jett in particular stood out here when he accidentally let out his life jacket. The ship then anchored in Rattlesnake Island for the night. Before dinner we had the second part to the knot tying competition where we did the figure of 8. The night was finished off with a quiz between all of the watch groups where red group was victorious.
