CLIENT: Mullumbimby HS

VOYAGE NUMBER:  20210309

FROM: Manly to Manly

DATE: 9 March 2021

POSITION:  Tangalooma

REPORT BY: Blue Watch

We departed from Mullumbimby high school on Monday the 8th of March 2021. We were all super excited. We ran into some troubles at the start when a car and a bus had a head on collision it put us back a bit but we were all still jumping in our seats. We arrived at Manly Brisbane 6:40.

We all rushed out of our seats because we were so thrilled to get on the ship. We hauled our luggage over our shoulders and walk towards the ship. After we hauled our luggage on the ship, we went out for dinner and everyone got a meal and dined together. We then adventured to the park and hung out on the playground. After that night we hurried back to the ship to get a well needed sleep.

We woke up in the morning ready to get our journey underway. After safety talk and quick briefing we fired up the engine and got ready to set sail. No one was down stairs since we were all excited to see the ship finally moving. When we reached the bay we hoisted the jib and set the sails and began our journey. As Manly Harbour started fading away from our vision we knew we were getting closer to our destination. We sailed passed Saint Helena Island and Mud Island as we headed north east.

We arrived at Tangalooma at 15:00 just after 6 hours of sailing.  Upon arrival we lowered the dingy down and begin taking turns in the dingy to make it to the shore. When we got off the ship we rushed down the beach to the sand dunes and had a blast going down at 100mph. Marley, Luca and Lucas
