South Passage Daily Report

CLIENT: School Holiday Voyage

VOYAGE NUMBER:  20201216

FROM: Manly to Manly

DATE: 17 December 2020

POSITION:  Peel Island

REPORT BY: White Watch

White Watch started off the day by cleaning the wheel and blowing the bugle to wake everyone up. Then we manually lifted the anchor, which required many hands on deck. After that we set sail to the Moreton Island Big Sand Hills, where some may’ve got roasted and toasted by the sun.

The Sandhills were marvellous and you could see a picturesque landscape, such as the boat and the “South Passage”. We then jumped off the boat with many great dives, and someone lost a fin. The second time we raised anchor manually was a much better success, it flowed swimmingly and smoothly. We then raised the sails and travelled to Peel Island and we anchored off at Horseshoe Bay.
