South Passage Daily Report

CLIENT: Lorien Novalis

FROM: Port Stephens TO: Sydney

DATE: 24 Oct 2017

POSITION: Broughton Is

Report by: Blue Watch

After six AM start and having loaded fruit and veg aboard the ship it came time to depart Nelson Bay. We set sail for Broughton Island, on the way we saw whales as close as a few hundred meters and the odd F18 flying into Williamtown; the wind was steady and the sea was relatively calm. The weather was pleasant and everyone enjoyed their first taste of hoisting and lowering the sails, and no one got sick! The food was amazing and the sunset at Broughton Island was a spectacular display of amber and violet hues. We are looking forward to our journey onward to Newcastle in the morning.  Signing Off, Tim and Adrian/Monica and Caecilia
