We had a very exciting two days, with the first day with lovely sailing weather, not too many of us got to sick just a few but we ended the day with one of the funniest swims I would say we have ever had! With many of us jumping in off the ship and having a blast, ending it with 7 of us kiss the mermaid and 2 with jellyfish stings…
But never the less one of the best experiences we have all had. But on the other hand, Day four was not a vibe… With winds over 25 knots and waves as big as tsunami crash over us as we went up and down and up and down for the whole passage. It was an experience but not the best. Lots of work and sail changing but even though it was a bit difficult, we think it was the best learning experience we could ever learn from. The skill and strengths we have gotten we will remember forever!
In all seriously we got to Rattlesnake safe and sound. With us kids feeling a little better and much too ready for our beds and awaiting the voyage back home.
