REPORT: Red Watch
Today we woke up at a sharp 6:30am to the bugle played by Harrison. Then we proceeded to eat our cold breakfast which consisted of cereal and porridge. Then everyone separated into groups to have a knot tying competition for the round turn and two half hitches at 7:30 am.
The thunderbirds got together and we started prep on the foresail. We lifted the sails and started motor sailing due to the lack of wind. We arrived at Orpheus Island at roughly 3:00pm. We took the foresail down and the proceeded to go for a swim and snorkelled.
After the swim we travelled to Pioneer Bay on Orpheus Island and we have anchored here for the night. Around 1745 we had the figure of eight and the reef knot tying competition. Then red group went to dinner that included sausages and mash potato and a variety of vegetables.
We watched the sunset and we had sticky date pudding and custard for dessert. Now it is time to settle down and start to get ready for another long day tomorrow. Goodnight.
