Yesterday, Friday 24th, was a thrilling day of learning and activities. We woke up at Orpheus Island and had yet another knot tying competition where we practiced the bow line and clove hitch. We were fortunate enough to sail without the engine for some time. We then anchored at Brooke Island and swam there with the lemon sharks for half an hour, where we had a competition to try and kiss the figurehead mermaid under the bow. Then we sailed through some of the Hinchinbrook Channel, we saw many crocodiles lurking in the dark.
