REPORT: White Watch
Today we left port just before sunset. We had a safety briefing and then set sail out into the sunset towards Magnetic Island. We were served a beautiful dinner by our cook, Hugh, shortly after leaving, which was butter chicken. Some of white watch worked together to move the stay sail so we could anchor at West Point on Magnetic Island. We then had a small tour of our cabin and heads, setting up our bunks and receiving a brief overview of the days ahead.
Our watch leader Sydney was excellent at welcoming us to the South Passage ship, walking us through the introduction of our workbooks. Finally, we were served cheesecake and then had some relaxation time before getting ready for bed. Seeing the sunset as we sailed out of Townsville was incredible and we look forward to many more sightings of the beautiful nature around us.
