After our hot breakfast, we worked up a sweat setting the sails in our tutus. We sped along at 10 knots without the motor, reaching Palm Island in good time. On the way, we saw a cargo ship. They must have been amazed seeing the fairies (wo) manning the helm.
We dropped anchor near Palm Island. We took the tender so we could be dropped off on shore. On the beach, we did our bit for Mother Nature, filling a garbage bag with rubbish. We saw a lot on Palm Island – including a shack made from a plane shell and a car battery growing coral. In the water, we saw many fish, coral and sea cucumbers.
Some of the braver ladies had a turn on the stand up paddleboard!
Once we were all back on board, we motored to Orpheus Island. On the way, we passed Fantome Island and saw some shy whales playing hide and seek. Some of us also snuck in a cheeky yoga session, taking advantage of calmer waters.
We dropped anchor off Orpheus Island and enjoyed another beautiful sunset accompanied by the sound of ukeleles and angelic singing.
