REPORT: White Watch
We left High Island anchorage in rough weather and headed to Sudbury Cay for a frolic, snorkel and a swim.
The morning knotting competition put Green Team under severe pressure to perform, however white team was victorious by bringing in expertise from the cook Louise. Unfortunately Red Watch is in the lead only marginally. However, it is expected that White Watch will ultimately be the victor.
Along the way we worked hard by a combination of taking a reef out on the run. All watches in unison conducted many gybes resulting in the writer having to sleep after lunch to recover. The same procedure was conducted as we left Sudbury Cay enroute to Fitzroy Island.
All watches seem to be working very well together and each watch is gaining confidence and a good understanding of sailing terms, uses of equipment and manoeuvres required to sail the ship.
As the voyage comes to its conclusion tomorrow all watches appear to have all had a great time and learned a great deal more about sailing.
