An earlier start with the chain coming up a little after six in the morning. Good wind to start enabled some sailing, unfortunately that decreased during the morning and we relied more on the engine. For most of the day the weather was excellent with clear skies and a pleasant temperature. Along the way we took the reef out of the main, we did a heave to, and worked through an emergency drop of the main sail.
We then anchored at High Island and sent the tender ashore with seven people which was met by two others who swam across from the boat.
