After breakfast and a knot competition, we headed north under moderate winds and rain squalls. We anchored just off shore around 1230hrs. After lunch we lowered the tender and ferried part of the crew ashore.
The island resort appears to be still under repair after a cyclone around 2011. Some chose to hang close to the jetty and did walks along the beach, whilst others went with the Skipper and hiked to the Mt. Kootaloo Lookout. Whilst it was a foggy view, it was still a beautiful walk and we saw a Barramundi frog and a variety of birds.
We came back on board around 1630hrs and had showers and another knot competition, before a beautiful sausage and mash dinner and sticky date pudding and custard for dessert.
