On our trip to South Passage, Stanley and Kayla got to go in the new School truck while everyone else went in the school bus. When we arrived at the sail boat nerves were kicking in. We got our briefing from the Skipper and the Sailing Master. After that we left Manly and motored most of the way to Moreton Island/Mulgumpin as there was no wind. During the journey we saw two pods of Dolphins playing. We practised raising and dropping the sails.
Once we anchored, we lowered the tender and went over to the island to have a swim and also play in the sand dunes. We then returned to the South Passage, had dinner, a shower, and got changed. Our last duty was to read and log the three bearings for our anchorage. The best part of today was raising the sails and sailing.
