Today we sailed from the Northern end of Moreton Island to Tangalooma. We all prepped the sails together, with Mischa as the boson to help coordinate the procedure. We left at 9:00 ish in the morning where we sailed south and saw lots of dolphins.
Once we arrived and lowered the sails, we got our snorkelling gear, and made our way, group by group to the shore. We swam through the clear water where we picked up a starfish and got a photo with it. We also ran up and down the sand dunes which are the highest in the world!
We went back to our ship and jumped off into the water for a bit before we did a rope tying competition and prepared the sails to sail slightly further so we could anchor. We then lowered the sails once we anchored and had dinner whilst sitting outside and watching the sunset. Tomorrow we will all be in charge of sailing back to port to go home and end our voyage!
