We set out from Manly Harbour and pushed into 20-30 knot winds meaning the day was exciting from the start. The weather deteriorated throughout the day, so did the crew. No matter how far the crew deteriorated, their spirits improved with every wave that crashed over her bow, and many did! We also saw a few turtles upon our arrival at Moreton Island.
White watch reigned supreme in the rope tying and backstay competition.
Cath provided sensational catering to the crew and everyone has ended the day content and happy with the wind whistling through the rigging. All crew nestled safely anchored off the world’s second largest sand island.
