Our day as a watch began at the crack of the new day, 12:00am. We would then sail through the night to 4:00am completing rotations, tacking and practiced our knots for our daily competition. Followed by Blue watch’s takeover of our duties leading us to a limited sleep due to blue watch shenanigans “la boo-boo!”.
Cook Hugh provided once again with delectable pancakes that we devoured post-midnight shift. Closely followed by a much-needed slumber in the main saloon. After a divine sleep white watch clocked in at 10 to begin our 2-hour shift in which we completed a ‘perfect 11 minute’ jibe and Sharyn checked our amazing knotting capabilities in ready to win our next competition.
Jumping 6 hours we have made it halfway to Coffs Harbour, successfully completing our practice journey, finding ourselves currently writing this but going to go to bed now, thank you and good night.
