Today’s adventure started an hour and a half early at 5am, all thanks to someone who loves to make noise and a historic chat. We enjoyed a double breakfast before leaving the dock, bound for open waters.
We learnt how to put the sails up and tacking. We had much fun in the ship on an angle, having to fight to stand up. A highlight of the day was seeing a large sea turtle, and the boys caught a massive fish. The weather was divine, the sun shining completely clear of clouds, and a lovely fresh breeze to fill the sails. We jumped off the ship into the refreshing water near Moreton Island.
Before dinner we did a knot tying competition with our team, with white coming second only to those who had staff in their teams. The day was finished by watching the sunset over hearty meal. Hannah, Keira, Molly, Nate, Travis, and Ken
