At the beginning of the day, we all woke up and were very tired, but were ready to learn and face challenges improving our skills on the ship. To start the day, we learned how to raise the sail and learn various knots. Based on our extended knowledge and training of knots, we competed against the other groups (AND LOST) in a knot tying competition.
In terms of sails, we were in charge of the main sail, moving it up and down. At noon, we stopped for an hour and had fun swimming and jumping from the ship. After we finished watching, we completed the day with a 2 hour clean up session of the ship, including counting nearby boats and finding bearings.
Food-wise, we were cooked an amazing dinner, which was tender chicken with rice and veg. To summarize everything stated so far, we had blast learning new skills, and hope to learn even more tomorrow!
