Tumble out of bed but couldn’t find the kitchen
Rana gave us all a cup of ambition, and we yawned and stretched and tried to come to life
We hauled on the ropes and hoisted up the main sail
Turned to the skipper to get some good counsel and reefed and flaked on the way to Brewer Reef.
We sailed on 75’ all the way out to the ocean
Where we swam the reef and put on lots of sun block lotion
We were catching fish, there were Sweet Lip and a Trigger
They make us work too hard but we’ve got to watch our figure.
Working 9 to gybe with no wine and only instant
And the cares from home, they’re far away and distant
Working every day as a sailor on South Passage
We ended the day with a facial and a massage
