VOYAGE NUMBER:  20250723

FROM: Townsville To: Townsville

POSITION: Pioneer Bay, Orpheus Island

DATE: 24 July 2025

REPORT: Red Watch

We started today bright and early with a 12am to 4am shift, where we used compasses to find our bearings and learnt how to do several types of knots. We raised the sails and anchor and sailed past Palm Island, to Orpheus Island, where we stopped for a swim at the jetty and did shell searching.

When we got back to the ship, our skills were put to the test with a knot tying competition, where the Red Watch team came second and first! To finish the night, we had bangers and mash and a delicious sticky date pudding prepared by Louise. Goodnight from the Red Watch team!
