CLIENT: Townsville Grammar Group 1

VOYAGE NUMBER:  20250723

FROM: Townsville To: Townsville

POSITION: West Point, Magnetic Island

DATE: 23 July 2025

REPORT: White Watch

Whilst the majority of Grade 10 returned home after a dreary day at school, members of South Passage Boat 1 were taken to the Fuel Wharf at Breakwater Marina, to embark on journey like no other. As we boarded the schooner South Passage, our parents waved us goodbye, and we lugged our bags onto the vessel with excitement, anticipation yet trepidation, nonetheless because of the unknown we were about to face.

We were promptly split into watches, with whom we would bond over the next 4 days. We were given a delicious dinner and then took turns taking over the helm to steer the vessel, whilst setting up our beds for the night. We traversed to West Point, Magnetic Island, and anchored there for the night.
