REPORT: White Watch
We woke up at 0630 and got changed in appropriate clothes for the voyage. At 0700 we had cold breakfast. At 0745 we had commenced a knot competition for the single sheet bend knot. At 0800 we had hot breakfast including eggs, bacon, toast and tomatoes. At 0830 we split off into our individual watch groups to hoist the sails, we had to prepare the mainsail for our voyage. We had watch from 1000 to 1200 where we went through the whole rotation and had burritos for lunch at 1130 before being relieved by blue watch.
We sailed for around another hour before anchoring at Sudbury Cay, where we got to snorkel and swim for 2 hours. Once we returned to the ship we split off into our watch groups to prepare for sailing again. White watch raised the mainsail before sailing to Fitzroy Island where we lowered the sails and anchored. At 1715 we had a knot competition for the rolling hitch and a competition for the backstays, we won both!! At 1730 we had chicken stir fry for dinner and peaches with custard for dessert. As a collective group the snorkelling was our favourite part of the day.
