VOYAGE NUMBER:  20250621

FROM: Cairns To: Cairns

POSITION: Milne Reef

DATE: 23 June 2025

REPORT: Blue Watch

Blue watch completed many tasks during our watch and the lowering and raising of sails, to be specific, the main sail. Siobhan and Nikki were on the Vangs, Tim and Daniel were on the throat halyard, Bridie and Jasmine were on the Peak Halyard. Jasmine was on the downhaul as we were lowering the main sail and Daniel was on the main sheet. The blue watch also participated in flaking the halyard ropes ready for easing of the ropes.

We stopped at Thetford Reef where we snorkelled and swam, spotting many different species of marine life. We then travelled to Milne Reef where we dropped anchor for the night. During our watch time, we carried on the rotation of positions such as starboard watch, port watch, the standbys and the helm where we contributed information to help our voyage be enjoyable and safe. We saw dolphins while travelling to Milne Reef. Lael, Blue Watch Bosun
