VOYAGE NUMBER:  20250615

FROM: Townsville To: Townsville

POSITION: Fitzroy Island

DATE: 18 June 2025

REPORT: White Watch

We raised our anchor this morning around 8-30 am. That morning, we had a successful try at gybing and we also were able to sail and navigate thru the rough seas. On the way to Fitzroy Island, we had another successful gybe, and we were also successful with the rotation and flaking.

We arrived at Fitzroy Island around 4:30 with our crew working on the vangs, gasket, mainsheet, peak and throat halyard, the outcome of that was successful as well. Overall, today was a good day for our crew and it helped us reflect on our mistakes such as, slow communication and slow rotation making us more prepared and triumphant in the end.
