This morning we woke up at 12:45am to complete some bookwork and check up on our location and the ship. We then slept until 6:30 to a very poor attempt at using a bugle. After this we ate cold breakfast then participated in a knotting competition to learn to tie a figure of eight. After this we ate bacon, eggs and toast.
Later in the morning we hoisted the sails and departed for a nearby reef. The voyage lasted around 3 hours and we rested for about an hour and made our return toward Kent Island. During the voyage we played card games and ate snacks and had some sleep.
Moments before arrival we started prepping the sails to be taken down. We took the sails down and then proceeded to lower the anchor. After lowering, we participated in another skilful knotting competition; learning the bowline knot (very very VERY hard). After this we ate our carefully prepared beef stew. We then left the galley to go upstairs for our watch. The rain kicked in and Alex and I wrote this carefully and meticulously created report.
