Having being awakened by Cameron’s exceptional bugle playing, we enjoyed a hot breakfast of pancakes. After some issues were cleared with the ship’s shower water tank everyone was finally able to access their hats, and we raised the main sail. Concluding this, we sped through our 10:00 – 12:00 shift, involving two tacks, one of which was completed in less than three minutes.
After anchoring at Herald Island, we went for a quick dip in the ocean. Many members of the student crew enjoyed the depth and jumped in; Cameron, our main character, showed off his physique and executed backflips.
We reraised the mainsail and sped straight for Magnetic Island, in preparation for our sail back to Townsville tomorrow. White Watch thoroughly enjoyed their downtime, enjoying games of cards. We finally anchored at our destination for tonight, and went to great lengths to ensure your reading experience was worthwhile.
