CLIENT: Combined Steiner Schools

VOYAGE NUMBER:  20250609

FROM: Townsville To: Townsville

POSITION: Casement Bay, Great Palm Is

DATE: 11 June 2025

REPORT: Blue Watch

We were woken up by the playing of the bugle while we were underway motoring from Hinchinbrook Channel towards Lucinda.

Despite the rocky start, that didn’t stop Blue Watch from winning the daily knot competition – the bowline, the hardest knot taught on South Passage! After breakfast, we raised the sails and set sail to Pelorus Island.

When we arrived, we were greeted by a beautiful land surrounded by a coral beach. We swam for a while, before returning to the ship for a delicious warm lunch of Spaghetti Bolognaise.

We then set sail again for another few hours before anchoring for the night off Palm Island. A highlight of the day was the multiple sightings of ocean life such as dolphins and crabs. Overall, the day went smoothly and was enjoyable for everyone.
