A beautiful sunrise greeted the night watch. Rana made another amazing breakfast. We began with heaving the anchor, with all hands-on deck to manage the task and turn the capstan.
The next task was hoisting all sails, and we departed Horseshoe Bay around 9. We set a course for Orpheus Island crossing Halifax Bay. The conditions were superb, and we saw dolphins near Palm Island.
We arrived at Orpheus Island in the late afternoon to spectacular blue skies and sea, where we had the opportunity to swim and snorkel in the crystal-clear waters or take a walk along the pristine beach. The range of sea life was unexpected! Phil spotted an octopus, and Rob came face to face with a Scorpion Fish!
