South Passage Daily Report

CLIENT: Seven Day Youth Voyage

VOYAGE NUMBER:  20250421

FROM: Gladstone To: Manly

DATE: 26 April 2025

POSITION: Tangalooma

REPORT: Blue Watch

We woke at the usual time of 6 am, where we started with the sheet bend knotting competition, which was followed promptly by a back stay competition. Blue watch won (go BLUES!)
After that we prepped and raised the sails and started our journey again, which was more smoothing sailing than the day prior to Tangalooma wrecks.
After some delicious food from our cook Hugh, we got ready and boated across to the island where we had a lovely swim, and even climbed to the very top of a sand dune and ran down into the water.
We later returned to the ship, where we were met with a beautiful sunset which was captured by many cameras as its beauty was glowing deeply into the night sky.
Preparing for Command Day tomorrow, we elected the candidates for Skipper, Navigator, Sailing master and the watch leaders.
