DATE: 25 March 2025

POSITION: Big Sandhills, Moreton Is

REPORT: Red Watch

The bugle woke us up at 6.30 am, then we all went to the galley to have cold breakfast. We destroyed everybody in the knot competition. After winning the knot comp we enjoyed some nice hot scrambled eggs and beans on toast breakfast, then raised the sails and voyaging towards a shipwreck.
We anchored offshore of Moreton Island, and some people got on a smaller boat in groups to go to the beach. We walked down to the beach and found a big dune to slide down on bodyboards. After sliding down the sand dunes everyone went for a swim in the shallow water.
Later, we all came back to the ship in groups and hurried to get ready so that we could then hoist the sails and sail back to the Big Sandhills where we had stayed the night before. After that we had another knot competition and sadly lost. We then had bangers and mash for dinner and played cards in the cabin until lights out.
