VOYAGE NUMBER:  20240629

FROM: Cairns To: Townsville

DATE: 2 July 2024

POSITION: Haycock Is

REPORT: White Watch

Today we started our day with a slam-dunk as we hiked up to the peak on Dunk Island. 5 kilometres and half of an asthma attack later we managed to heave through despite feeling like the ground was swaying below us. A baby snake also managed to achieve a feature on this trip. After that Hugh blessed us with a tasty lunch.

We then got on our way to Haycock Island, travelling in fortunate conditions. Concurrently we preformed fit checks among crew members to determine who had the most swagger. Dave ended out coming on top. We were then all fascinated by the beautiful scenery, however still unable to see a crocodile. After anchoring, Libby serenated us with some beautiful ukelele playing as other crew members accompanied with some abstract dancing. Tomorrow we are keeping out eye out for a crocodile and visiting the Great Barrier Reef.
