South Passage Daily Report

CLIENT: Churchie Year 10 Group 1

VOYAGE NUMBER:  20211122

FROM: Manly to Manly

DATE: 22 November 2021

POSITION: Moreton Is

REPORT BY: Blue Watch

The vessel left the port at ten to 1. This was then followed by introductions to each of the crew which included watch leaders, sail master and captain, and a cook. We were split up into three groups red, white, and blue. We were then debriefed on safety around the deck. This was followed by learning to hoist the sails.

After that the three crews proceeded to have lunch. The food was of Michalend star quality. The ingredients were incredible, and the ham slapped like the salty seawater on my lubricant face. The lettuce was crunchy and satisfying like a delicious nut.

Learning to tie knots was also an integral part in sailing, and then was followed by a knot competition (which blue won). To finish off the lovely day, the boys played some card games (Texas holdem), and spat some bars rapping on the deck. To finish off the beautiful day the crew and boys indulged in some creamy and white apple cream, with a side of some musty custard. The night ended with some navigation with the boys on watch.
