Today we travelled from Horseshoe Bay at Peel Island to Tangalooma ship wrecks near Moreton Island. We began our journey by motoring before raising our sails and taking multiple tacks along the way to reach the open bay. Hungry Hugh’s cooking was on point like always.
Upon approaching shore, we worked as a team to bring the sails down and slowly motor before anchoring. We then launched the tender from the back of the ship and took multiple trips to shore to go swimming and snorkelling near the ship wrecks and to have fun on the sand dunes. Finally, after a long day we settled it with a knot tying competition.
