This morning we all met up at the marina in Cairns and then we all got introduced to the crew and the ship. We then had a briefing. After that we went and set up our beds and then put all our personal equipment under our beds.
We started to learn how the ship works and how to use its various parts. We learnt how to belay and hitch and then set sail. It was not our watch first, however, we helped out anyway because there was a lot of things to do at the start.
