South Passage Daily Report

CLIENT: Mullumbimby HS

VOYAGE NUMBER:  20210309

FROM: Manly to Manly

DATE: 11 March 2021

POSITION:  Horseshoe Bay, Peel Is

REPORT BY: Red Watch

The first thing that happened today was we travelled in the dingy to the beach and had a swim, we saw stingrays and shovel nose sharks and even caught one. After a long walk along the beach we finally arrived at Ghebulum and hiked up a massive sand hill, after sliding down it for a bit we walked over to an extremely small lake for a nice drink of fresh water.

Once we had enough fun at the sand hills, Mr Hall decided it was time for us to head back to the ship. We all had to walk quiet a long distance to get to the pickup spot for the dingy. As we were walking into the water to meet the dingy we saw a lot of stingrays, it was very scary. After another long dingy ride back to the ship we all got the opportunity to jump off the side of the ship. Once everyone was finished jumping off the ship we set sail for Peel Island. Hoisting the sails was very difficult as it was rainy and cold the whole time. As we got closer to Peel Island we took down the sails and anchored down in Horseshoe Bay.
