South Passage Daily Report

CLIENT: School Holiday Voyage

VOYAGE NUMBER:  20201216

FROM: Manly to Manly

DATE: 16 December 2020

POSITION:  Tangalooma wrecks

REPORT BY: Blue Watch

The South Passage left Manly boat harbour at approximately 8:30am today. The crew received a safety briefing, and then began to raise the sails upon leaving the harbour. The South Passage arrived at 3pm at Moreton Island, sailing an approximate 6 hours. The crew then went snorkelling, and had beach time, next to the sand dunes at Tangalooma.

The crew came back on the South Passage, had showers and before dinner had a rope tying competition. The aim was to have each member tie a round turn and half hitches in the shortest amount of time possible. The blue watch team won with 45 seconds, adjusted to 54 seconds, to account for their smaller group size. White watch came second (which is first loser), and red watch came last.
