FROM: Port Stephens To: Sydney
DATE: 31 October 2018
POSITION: La Perouse, Botany Bay
REPORT BY: Blue Watch
Today is day 4 of our big sea voyage and it was quite an eventful one. We started off with an early start just as usual, a cold breakfast followed by yet another exciting knot contest which Team Blue won by a split second (and pure skill). After a brief celebration we were all greeted by a warm breakfast prepared by the great Hugh. Afterwards we all gathered on deck and prepared the ship for the next leg of our journey. We stopped in Pittwater for a brief swim and exploration of Mackerel Beach, then we were off again. The water was reasonably calm at first and then continued to get rougher over time, we pulled into our destination (Port Botany) at approximately 19:00 hrs.
After dinner we elected Ship Captain, Sailing Master and Navigator and watchleaders for our final day on South Passage. We finished the evening with a sing-off! Over all it was a very enjoyable day at sea. Aaien
