CLIENT: General Public Voyage

VOYAGE NUMBER:  20230810

FROM: Mackay to Rosslyn Bay

DATE: 10 August 2023

POSITION: Curlew Is

REPORT: White Watch

We set off at 8:30 am towards Curlew Island, raised the sails in the harbour already and went on motoring against 18 knots southeasterly wind. Because of rather rough seas a few of us got seasick. The rest of us enjoyed the sun, the waves and the spray that got us wet every now and then. Teamwork with 12 passengers and 9 crew members went very smoothly. We saw whales a few times.

60 NM later we anchored at 7 pm after the last two tacks and lowering the sails in darkness which was very exciting and challenging. Most of us had great fun today.
