VOYAGE NUMBER: 20171002
FROM: Manly TO: Manly
DATE: 3 Oct 2017
POSITION: Tangalooma Wrecks
Report by: White Watch
Today we had two shore parties visit Peel Island. Many jumped off the boat. We then departed under clearing skies, headed north, however the winds were too light and we were forced to motor all the way to Tangalooma, off Moreton Island. Along the way we saw multiple whales, dolphins, sharks and stingrays. Upon arrival to Tangalooma most of the boat went to shore, swam and ran up the sand dunes. At sunset it started to rain and fish off starboard started flipping and exposing their shiny sides. Tonight Charlie was elected skipper, Georgia Sailing Master, and Phillip and Mathew Navigators.
