This morning we got up at approximately 5am to do our own Anzac service. We had planned to attend the Anzac Day Service on Coochiemudlo Island, but the weather was too wet and windy to use our tender in the dark, so we had our service in the cabin of the ship. Our captain Andrew told us a story about his grandfather in the war and then read the Anzac ode and played the song ‘The band played waltzing Matilda’ then we had breakfast. Today it was pancakes they were very yummy with banana soaked in lemon and sugar and maple syrup on top.
Then we got in the little boat over to Coochiemudlo Island to go to the café and geocaching then went back to the ship for lunch it was very yummy chicken salad wraps. We prepared the ship to sail to the sand hills of Moreton Bay where we got to jump and swim of the ship the water was only a little bit cold. Some people managed to kiss the mermaid. Then we went in for dinner a delicious meal of stewed beef with potatoes and pumpkin. Then we did some work on our South Passage adventure manual.
