CLIENT: Byron Bay HS

VOYAGE NUMBER:  20230321

FROM: Manly to Manly

DATE: 22 March 2023

POSITION: Tangalooma, Moreton Is

REPORT: Red Watch

Today after breakfast we had the knot tying competition, we did the reef knot and white watch won. After we had breakfast we took the tender to the sandhills and took the boogie boards to slide down the massive hills. Walking up the sandhills was a challenge and really tired out our legs. At the sand hills we made a jump to ride over on the boogie boards. After we went down the sand hills, we got really sandy so we went for a swim in the very clear water. We saw shovel nosed sting rays and normal very big stingrays.

We got back and it was time for lunch, we had burgers. We went sailing up the top of Moreton Island and then we went sailing through big waves and got soaked. It was verry challenging sailing through the big waves especially when we had to tack. We arrived at Tangalooma and had to take the sails down in the dark. Then we had sausages and mashed potato with gravy, corn and green beans for dinner. Once we arrived at a flat area, we had dessert and went to bed.
