POSITION: Fairlight/Manly, Sydney Harbour
REPORT BY: White Watch
Today, while all the other watches were hiding below deck, we fought killer sharks with lasers and the lock ness monster…
Today, left the dock at King Street after boarding and began motoring towards Cockatoo Island and up the Parramatta River, within the first hour of the voyage we encountered a storm however it only lasted around half an hour. We all got wet but pulled the ship through. From there we hoisted the Foresail and staysail and began tacking our way to Store beach and anchored close to shore, everyone was jumping off the ship and practicing our flips. We then caught the ships tender to the beach, spending the afternoon enjoying swimming at the beach. On our return to South Passage we weighed the anchor and made our way to North Harbour to drop anchor. Once we anchored for the night, we conducted a knotting competition in which red team won. We then had a delicious dinner and dessert and sat at the bow enjoying the warm evening breeze.
