We arrived in Nelson Bay at Sunday 2:00pm 23rd Sep. 2016 and boarded the South Passage ready to start our journey on the open seas. Today we set sail for the first time, hauling up the sails and learning how to tie knots were one of the first activities we explored. We did not sail outside Port Stephens as strong winds and large swells (up to 4 metres) but further up Port Stephens and anchored in a small bay for the night. Still continuing our adventure on the South Passage.
