We as a Somerset Crew have arrived at Inskip Point with ease at around 2030. Along the calm sailing, we encountered lots of wild life including dolphins and a couple of dugong. We have concluded that seeing these was an awesome sight. Not only have we experienced this beautiful fauna, we have learnt the ropes of the schooner under the guidance of our watch leader Liz. It was through Liz that we were able to hoist the different sails and move far beyond our general knowledge of sailing. With our strong teamwork in our group we were able to proceed with challenges such as preparing the jib and the staysail. With the mesmerising sunset behind us, our group has been able to punch the cold winds and enjoy this majestic day of sailing.
