South Passage Daily Report

CLIENT: Byron Bay

VOYAGE NUMBER:  20190319

FROM: Manly To: Manly

DATE: 20 March 2019

POSITION: Tangalooma

REPORT BY: White Watch

Today white watch woke up at 5am and cleaned the brass on the wheel and other brass on the ship. The sunrise this morning was fantastic! Then we all waited for the others to get up and get organised.

After everyone got their act together, Hugh, our brilliant chef whipped all of us some breakfast, Hash browns and Spaghetti on toast.

After breakfast we went to the sand dunes in the dinghy with our boogieboards and other gear. We went for a nice swim after we spent about an hour on the dunes before we went back to the boat. We jumped off the boat a couple of times while everyone returned to the boat for lunch.

Lunch was burgers. After lunch, we geared up for our sailing to another part of the island. On our course to Tangalooma, the wind was really good and we reached about 12 knots.

After we anchored in Tangalooma, we had a knot- tying competition which Red Watch won.

Everyone is now chilling out, talking to people and playing cards. White Watch doing the first anchor shift of the evening.
