VOYAGE NUMBER:  20180912

FROM: Manly TO: Manly

DATE: 13 Sept 2018

POSITION: Horseshoe Bay, Peel Is

REPORT BY: White Watch

We woke up at 0500 and had a hot chocolate, then we started polishing the brass which ended up making it very shiny. At 7 o’clock we had our breakfast then we had a knotting competition and we won.

We went to the beach at 9 o’clock and some of us went for a swim and others went running up a sand dune and rolling down. We went back to the ship and pulled up the anchor and we left at 11 am, after putting up the sails and we motor sailed 4 hours towards Peel Island and on the way we ate burgers. When we arrived at Peel Island we put the sails down and put the anchor down. We then had a swim when we arrived, some people went fishing and others lay down and read books.

After all that we had another knotting competition and won again but our glory was short lived by Jay who caught a massive toad fish. We had dinner and desert after all of that and looked at a satellite and a shooting star, some others were just fishing. At 8 pm at the beginning of our night shift we found out how to find South using the Southern Cross. We had a watch from 8-12 then went to bed.
