VOYAGE NUMBER:  20231120

FROM: Manly To: Manly

DATE: 20 November 2023

POSITION: Big Sand Hills, Moreton Is

REPORT: White Watch

Today we started off with leaving the Manly harbour at around 11:30am and has been spitting and overcast throughout the whole day. Our first big task was to put the sails up and that took everybody to work together for it to be successful. Throughout our journey, we’ve spotted turtles, dolphins and some even said to have seen sharks!

Cath, the brilliant chef, cooked us all some amazing meals today! Lunch were some nice homemade sandwiches and dinner was greatly cooked chicken wings with mash and veggies. It didn’t end there as we also had a delicious desert being apple pie and custard!

We tacked about 4 times to go with the wind to get to our destination which is here at the Big Sand Hills and although the workload was big and all of us went through multiple trials and tribulations, we all learnt new things and challenged ourselves which is all part of this voyage. Also, Dave is awesome and is a great mentor!
