POSITION: Fitzroy Is

REPORT BY: White Watch

Early on Tuesday morning Braden and I woke up and were ready to begin learning about the various parts and areas of this specific sail boat while filling in our adventure booklet regarding people on board. As 4:30am came round and a starry sky above we jumped up onto the top deck and navigated three points across the horizon, then made our way back into bed until 6am to gain as much energy as possible. My group White watch fulfilled our duty to clean and polish the helm and after that was completed it was time for a nice, hot breakfast.

After everybody finished up, we started the competition for the fastest team out of the three to complete the rope tying the quickest (unfortunately we lost, but it was a tight and fun game). Our eventful sailing day begun, we all set up the sails then headed onto our destination, Fitzroy Island. The journey was very rough, windy but enjoyable. Arriving at the Island mid-afternoon, to finish up everyone headed ashore for a snorkel and swim.
