CLIENT: Silkwood School

VOYAGE NUMBER:  20180429

FROM: Manly TO: Manly

DATE: 2 May 2018

POSITION: Yellow Patch, Moreton Is

REPORT BY: Blue Watch

Today we sailed for eleven hours across the ocean to Yellow Patch near Cape Moreton. It was a wild ride meaning a lot of people weren’t feeling their best causing them to be unable to sail to the best of their abilities. Although that didn’t stop us from attempting to achieve our goals. However although we strived to get to Tangalooma we were unable to because it would’ve taken another three hours from where we are now. This means that tomorrow morning we are going to be sailing to Tangalooma.

For most of the trip we were motor sailing because for most of the day the wind speed wasn’t as fast as we needed it to be. Although later on in the day we turned off the motor and sailed properly.  In conclusion we all tried our best and we look forward to snorkelling at Tangalooma tomorrow.
